Bad Medicine (Click here for Past Performances)
Bad Medicine is a 13 year old gelding that raced 18 times, all in Northern California. Bad Medicine has not raced since 2003 and has been a pet for some years now. Sadly
his owner must give him up but only to a very good home that she will sign off on. This guy has a super nice personality and would make someone a terrific companion. We are courtesy listing him for
Delta Breeze Farm.
Here is some additional information from the current owner Sandy:
"Junior (Bad Medicine) is a wonderful horse, very smart and willing and has been ridden numerous times in a non racing setting. I have seen him jump 3 feet
and he would make a great hunter. He is at least 16.1 although I've never sticked him am usually pretty close at estimating. He would love to have an owner that
gave him a job to do as he is so smart and willing. When he was broke as a 2 year old the farm called after only 3 weeks and said to come and get him
that he was so smart he had already learned what needed to be learned to be track ready. They were right, he went to the track at Bay Meadows
the first time and jogged the wrong way like an old horse, never spooked or ducked, just jogged while he looked around. One other thing, if anyone wishes to try him
out I will transport him for free and pick him up if he doesn't work out." So Junior even comes with a "money back guarantee."
Update: April 2010
Junior is so well loved by Brenda and such a kind and well trained horse that Brenda has decided to keep him as her lesson horse at Delta Breeze Farm.
