Mister Deez

Mister Deez is a four year old chestnut gelding with lots and lots of bling. He is very fancy although he is not taken in by his own looks. Mister Deez loves playing....anything available is fair game, from a water hose to a pitch fork. He is a true gentle giant, coming in at almost 18hh and such a love bug you can lay down in his stall with him and hold his head in your arms. His owners only wanted him to race once and then retire him to an exceptionally good home. Thus he ran at the Los Angelos County Fair (Pomona), better known as FairPlex in the middle of September. Thereafter he went straight home after his one and only race. He did so well at FairPlex that it was contemplated to perhaps race him again but then the owners decided they didn't want to put him at risk and went back to the original plan. Mister Deez has not been ridden since, only turned out, to get fat and outta shape again. :).

Mr. Deez's former owner Vicky says she will always take him back, even it's twenty years from now. However, new owner Jamie won't let that happen. Jamie has 19 years riding experience and just trained her mare ground up, although she says the mare was quite feisty. Jamie had her first horse at 7 and kept him until he passed away at 30. Jamie is a patient sort and waited 4-6 months to even attempt to ride her mare, with whom Mister Deez will be a companion to, because she believes bonding and just spending time with your horse is crucial before any training is started to develop trust. Oh, and Jamie works at a veterinary hospital that also handles equines....could it be any better for the Deez????? Don't think so. Jamie is all ready and writes: "Aww!! You have no idea how excited I am for him to come home!! He's got lots of presents waiting for him! Super cool new jolly ball and hanging apple licky, camo turn out blankie, comfy stall, a very cute girlfriend and a barn full of new buddies! Haha. My family is coming for his welcoming day as well! Lots of carrots and hugs ready too.."
