No Direction Home (Click here for Past Performances)

No Direction Home (Noah) is a 6 year old 17 h/h dark brown gelding that raced in various states on small tracks as well as Golden Gate Fields. He is by the well known sire Lord Carson.

Noah has been off the track since Fall of 2010 and has worked with a trainer for the last few months (Jan-Feb). He is a good prospect for hunters, jumpers, pleasure, or trail. Currently, he has a large splint on the inside of his left front leg causing him to be lame. When the splint heals, he will be able to go in any direction and hopefully find his direction to the right home. Sometimes the names race horses are given are almost like a prophecy.

Noah would best be suited for jumping, hunters, trail, or pleasure with further training. He is a nice boy that just needs a person to call his own.

Update - August 2011

Noah will be living in Potter Valley and has already completed his first summer camp where he was a favorite of everyone with his easy going personality and kindness. He loves to work and was used in dressage and jumping lessons. Now he has the whole year off until June comes around again.
