Storming Runner
ADOPTED!!!!!
This incredibly good looking 3 year old gelding is Storming Runner by Smooth Runner out of Smoking Hun by Devon Lane. He was purchased at auction and is at Kimberlee
Farms and is being sponsored by Kim von Disterlo. Kim thinks he would make a very nice barrel racer or western pleasure horse. He is unraced and 100% sound. Please

Update - February 2013
Jenny just filed the following regarding Runner: "He is very trusting, smart and eager to please. I gave him
a couple days to settle into his new paddock and started working with him the other day.
He tends towards being quiet and loves affection.
After just a couple sessions in the round pen, I can send him off lead at a walk, trot, and canter.
When I ask him, he disengages and comes back to me. He responds light as a feather.
Even though he is young and inexperienced, he quickly adjusts to
new experiences and takes them in stride. For example, I hand walked him on the trail for the first
time yesterday. We walked a half mile loop over to an area near the freeway and back. Initially, as he walked behind me, I could hear him breathing nervously. However, as I talked to him and and reassured him, he quickly quieted down and was grazing and sniffing horse poops the rest of the trail walk....fun, smart horse.
He measures just under 15.2 hands."

Our barn manager's daughter Annie fell in love with Runner and thus he is staying at Bear Creek Stables and will be
adopted by Jenny and family. Congrats on your lovely boy!!
