Please consider the following horses in need of sponsors or helping with general expenses:
Approximate Monthly Horse Costs
Feed: $250
Calculated at three-four flakes of hay a day and a moderately priced supplement.
Bedding: $80
A bag of shavings is approximately $10 and a horse will go through about two bags a week.
Hoof Care: $50 = $110
A basic trimming is $50 a horse, but a trimming and shoes is around $100. Cost only applies every other month.
Vaccinations: $ 125
A dewormer, four-way vaccine, and West Nile booster is given every six months for basic horse health.
Veterinary Care:
This is unknown and usually is what breaks the back of a rescue.
In total it costs us at minimum $400 a month for us to keep a horse in foster care and even $25 a month is helpful. Even committing
to something like a bag of shavings ($10) or a bale of hay ($20) helps tremendously and allows us to sponsor an
